Very scenic spot located directly opposite Marblehead Lighthouse at opening to Marblehead Harbor. The fort is what remains of the earthworks, plus a bunker not currently open to the public (doors are open, but gated you can peek in)
Some nice spots to check out the islands in the harbor. There a stairway to the rocks by the water below but the footing could be tricky.
Parking is going to be the tough part, most of the parking is back at the bottom of the hill/ but it fills up pretty fast.
Gorgeous park in Marblehead. Love coming here for a walk. Beautiful during all seasons.

Very cold and drizzly the day we went, Small walk to get to the place as its built on a neck with private residences around. The fort has a park like setting newly remodeled with benches, walking path, dog friendly, great views, and bathrooms. Due to it being winter time the bathrooms were locked. The small brick building containing the bathrooms had very historical informative information regarding the fort and the surrounding area displayed within plaques on the outside wall. Great ocean views of Marblehead and it's surroundings too! Glad we went and explored the area.
What a beautiful peaceful view. Parking was a bit tricky as it was busy but we found street parking.
